South Carolina senior forward Chloe Kitts announced that she will miss the entire 2025 season after suffering a torn ACL in her right knee.
The injury happened during a recent team practice, according to a program spokesperson.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support,” Kitts shared Monday on X. “I recently tore my ACL and will unfortunately be out for the season. This isn’t how I hoped things would go, but I’m trusting God’s timing and purpose. I’ll continue to lead and support my teammates from the sidelines — we have big things ahead!”
Kitts is scheduled to undergo surgery later this week.
A two-year starter for the Gamecocks, she earned MVP honors at both the SEC Tournament and the NCAA Binghamton Regional last season, averaging 10.2 points and 7.7 rebounds per game as a junior.
